Bakery Product Making Workshop for Rural Women
SUDHA CSR conducted a five day Bakery Product Making Workshop at Roha and Sutarwadi.
Nowadays cake is in high demand for various occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, retirements etc.
Roha MIDC area has about 42 companies and has huge market opportunity for cakes.
To empower local women to grab this opportunity, Sudha CSR arranged for 5 days cake making workshop for rural women where different types of cakes, cookies and biscuit making training was provided.
After completion of this training and some trial batches, our ladies have started to take the business orders for different occasions.
This has turned out as an excellent livelihood/income generation activity for rural women.
