Conducted Training on Bramhi Saree Making
Women empowerment is a flagship program of SUDHA CSR. Under this program, 30 women trained on Brahmi saree making at Vashi village of Roha.
Brahmi sari is in high demand during cultural festivals such as Vatpournima, Makarsankranti and Gudipadwa.
One saree is priced at nearly INR 4,000 - 5,000 in the market.
Following Sudha's intervention, our trainees purchased raw materials (for INR 1000 for each saree), making Brahmi sarees and supporting their income.
