Sudarshan Announces the Divestment of its Plastic Masterbatch Business – Prescient Color Ltd.
Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. announces the divestment of its plastics masterbatch business, Prescient Color Ltd., to Americhem, Inc. The transaction has been completed today, 1st June 2018.
This strategic divestment demonstrates our commitment to grow aggressively in the Plastics industry through a no-conflict approach with our customers. It further highlights our resolve to focus on pigments as our core business, to be a market leader.
We have planned to invest around INR 1000 crores (USD 150 Million) over the next five years to underpin these growth targets.
