Sudarshan receives DMAI awards 2011

The awards were received by Mr. R B Rathi (Director – Pigment Division) and Mr. H K Tewari (General Manager – International Sales) at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. K U Mistry (Chairman - Gujrat pollution Control Board) at an award functions on June 24th, 2011 at Hotel Sea Princesses, Mumbai.

As a part of its growth strategy SCIL has expanded its horizon on a global scale by openings its two subsidiaries one at Europe and the other is in the US. SCIL has been able to deliver commendable results in Exports even during the difficult times of a global economic slowdown for the year of 2008-2009.

Recognizing these efforts, DMAI has awarded Excellent Performance in Exports of Pigments (Award for large scale Unit) These recognitions are proof of the commitment of the company to maintain highest standards in all its areas of operation.

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India, popularly known as DMAI was set up in 1950 to promote and protect trade, commerce and industries connected with dyestuffs and to encourage and assist those engaged in the manufacture of dyestuffs in India.

Their objective has been to present representations to various Ministries & Governmental agencies; boost the exports of the country, highlight causes to Municipal Authorities, encourage deserving students, increase our own technical competence, etc. The Association, in order to promote the exports of the Small Scale Companies initiated a consortium approach in many emerging markets.
