Upholding Freedom, Fairness, and Dignity
We uphold the highest standards for human rights across our operations and supply chains. We believe in a world where everyone is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
Our Human Rights Policy explicitly prohibits forced labor, child labor, and discrimination. We:
- Ensure safe and inclusive working conditions.
- Promote freedom of association.
- Expect all partners and suppliers to comply with our standards.
Our policies are supported by regular training, audits, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

Fighting Child Labor
Sudarshan has a zero-tolerance policy for child labor:
- We comply with all local regulations.
- All vendors and partners must adhere to the same standard; non-compliance results in contract termination.
- We audit vendor compliance and expect prompt remediation before continuing any partnership.
- We actively collaborate with local and international stakeholders in collective efforts to eliminate child labor from global supply chains.
As part of our responsible sourcing efforts, particularly in sectors like mica mining where the risk is heightened, we have implemented a 5-step Action Plan against Child Labor, which includes:
-
Policy Commitment
A zero-tolerance stance on child labor, clearly outlined in our policies.
-
Supplier Due Diligence
Background checks and risk assessments during onboarding.
-
Regular Monitoring
Ongoing evaluations and third-party audits of supply chain partners.
-
Remediation Measures
Immediate action in cases of violation, including engagement with NGOs for child rehabilitation.
-
Community Engagement
Collaborations with local stakeholders to address root causes and support long-term change.
