CosmenylBlack 100 is a water pigment preparation of approx. 19% carbon black,containing anionic dispersing agents and glycerine. The Color Index of the basic pigment is Pigment Black 7. The carbon black (D&C Black No.2) used for production of Cosmenyl Black 100 fulfills the high-purity criteria for cosmetic applications and can therefore be used for the coloration of rinse-off cosmetic products in all countries applying EU, U.S.A. (FDA) as well as Japanese regulations. All other ingredients used for Cosmenyl Black 100 also comply with the requirements applicable to cosmetics.

This carbon black pigment preparation creates a deep black shade which can be used for different cosmetic applications such as decorative cosmetics, including eyeliner, mascara, nail polish, and body painting.

It can also be used in toiletries, including shampoos and soaps.It is as well suitable for toothpaste and gel, school and hobby requisits, artist’s colors, writing inks, wood stains and latex coloration.
